[VIDEO] How to Raise Your Vibration

“Consciousness and vibrational frequency go hand in hand. When you’re in a low frequency, you’re in a decreased state of consciousness and your perception is limited. When you’re in a high frequency, you’re in an increased state of consciousness and your perception is heightened.

The lower your vibrational frequency, the less you are able to comprehend because your ego is restricting the Flow of Life Force/source Energy and Intuition/Love through your mind and body. The higher your vibrational frequency, the more you are able to comprehend because you are allowing a greater Flow of Life Force through your mind and body.

In video below, Teal Swan explains that raising your frequency means moving to a better feeling, a more positive emotion. She also explains that the trump card of all things that raise frequency is focus… nothing is more important than the thoughts you are thinking and whatever you’re paying attention to/focusing on. You can not focus on things that cause you to feel bad, and hold a high vibration.

Teal then goes on to describe eleven steps that you can take to increase your frequency.” Watch and learn!

The Emotional Guidance Scale (and How to Climb It)

What is the Emotional Guidance Scale?

The Emotional Guidance Scale, as explained by Abraham Hicks in the book “Ask and It Is Given,” is a scale of our feelings and emotions, in sequence from our highest vibrational feelings to our lowest. It is broken down into 22 of the most common emotions and divided into two sections: the upwards spiral and the downwards spiral:

Upward Spiral:

1. Joy/Appreciation/Empowered/Freedom/Love
2 . Passion
3 . Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness
4 . Positive Expectation/Belief
5 . Optimism
6 . Hopefulness
7 . Contentment

Downward Spiral

8 . Boredom
9 . Pessimism
10. Frustration/Irritation/Impatience
11. Overwhelment
12. Disappointment
13. Doubt
14. Worry
15. Blame
16. Discouragement
17. Anger
18. Revenge
19. Hatred/Rage
20. Jealousy
21. Insecurity/Guilt/Unworthiness
22. Fear/Grief/Depression/Despair/Powerlessness

All too often when we are feeling down, we’re told things like “think positively” or “chin up”, but in reality the jump from such a low vibrational space to such a high one is usually impossible. What the emotional guidance scale teaches us is that there are many different emotional steps along the way to true joy, and that our only real job is to climb this ladder of emotions at whatever rate or speed we are comfortable with. It’s about doing what you can, with what you have, from where you are.

Thoughts Affect Emotions

Our thoughts affect our emotions and therefore it is only through thoughts that we are able to climb the emotional scale. The first and most critical step is to become aware of where you currently are on the scale and then consciously reach for a thought that can take you a little higher.

For example, when you are in a state of grief or depression (#22 on the emotional scale), getting angry (#17) might not seem very “enlightened” or “positive” but it is actually a huge improvement from where you started. By allowing yourself to get angry (and thinking thoughts that express that anger) you have already climbed several steps and improved your vibration.

Boredom (#8 on the scale) is another interesting example. As shown in the image above, its placement is pivotal – it is right in the middle of the two spirals, meaning that the thoughts you choose from that point on can either spin you off into a downwards spiral, or help you climb out of the downwards one into the upwards one.

How to Think Your Way Up the Scale

Blogger, Maria Erving, gives a simple example of how to consciously choose thoughts and words that will help climb the scale at your own pace. In her words:

Let’s say you feel “disappointed” (#12) with someone. You are disappointed that he’s never on time for your get-togethers, he’s always late, and you feel disappointed, even a bit sad. Now would be a good time to see if you can invoke feelings of “irritation”(#10) within yourself by speaking/thinking: “It makes me really sad and disappointed that he’s always late. I feel that he’s not respecting me… wtf! It is sooo irritating that he thinks that I’m going to wait for him one more minute! I’ve had it with this behavior!”

Noticed how your emotion improved? (you went from #12 to #10)

Now, go even higher up:

“You know what? (still talking/thinking to yourself), I don’t care anymore. I’m leaving and he can just come and wait for me this time. I’m going shopping instead. I’m perfectly fine with that”. (feeling “contentment” (#7) and perhaps a bit empowered, too (#1)

From there you just keep finding thoughts that improve your feelings, and when you find a new, improved state of mind, you let go of the old one!

“The spiritually enlightened person still experiences the full range of emotion, so what they have gained is the awareness and the ability to direct their thoughts in such a way that they can climb up the emotional scale at will.”

10 Ways to Raise Your Vibration

Read the latest on our blog!

All your thoughts and feelings are energy, and energy is vibration. Learn to Raise those Vibrations and watch your life change dramatically.

  1. Find something beautiful and appreciate it.
Beauty is all around us, from the morning dew to the evening stars and everything in between. Most go through life not noticing all the beautiful things that are around them, and yes, they are everywhere, so take the time to notice them, and appreciate them when you see them. Whether it’s the scent of a flower or the way rain ripples in puddles of water, appreciate the beauty life has to offer.
  2. Make a list of all that you are grateful for.
Making a gratitude list shifts your vibrations from focusing on what you do not have to what is already abundant in your life. There is more to be grateful for than you could possibly imagine. You can start with “I’m Alive!” and expand from there. Gratitude is the Attitude.
  3. Meditate.
Sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and breathe in and out. Too often we rush through our days with a scattered brain leaving us in a state of anxiety and stress. Meditation helps to calm your spirit down and put you in a peaceful state of mind. 10 minutes of meditation a day can change your life forever.
  4. Do something for someone else.
Giving to someone else shifts your thinking from “I don’t have enough” to “I have more than enough to give to others.” Abundance is a high vibration.
  5. Stop complaining and gossiping.
Complaining and Gossip puts you in a very low vibration. Ask yourself “Are the things you are talking about bringing you more of what you want?” If not then, stop complaining and start finding ways to rejoice.
  6. Move. Exercise. Get active.
Vibration requires movement, the more you move the better your vibrations move. So Get Active! Dance! The happier you feel, the more you will draw happy experiences to yourself because you are operating at a different frequency.
  7. Realize that you have more control over your life than you thought.
You are not a victim to circumstance, past, family upbringing, trauma, or anything else. You can change your life in an instant. Just realize this. In many wisdom traditions this is called “total responsibility.” No one is responsible for how you feel right now but you. It isn’t a curse. It’s a blessing because it gives you your power back.
  8. Breathe.
Just sit and try to make your breath longer, fuller and more relaxed. It has a direct affect on your nervous system and helps to calm you down. A calm vibration is a high vibration.
  9. Do Something You’re Afraid Of.
Fear holds us back from being in a state of love and happiness, and facing those fears opens you up to a greater world of possibilities. Fear of Heights? Go skydiving. Scared of public speaking? Recite a poem at an open mic. You’ll begin to realize your fear was worse than the actual problem and a sense of relief will wash over you.
  10. Have a Meaningful Conversation with a Friend
Rather than gossip or complaining, talk about you ideas. What do you have planned for yourself? What do you think is the nature of reality? Are we spiritual beings having a human experience? Talking about these things with someone helps to raise both your vibrations by thinking big. If you don’t have someone to talk to about these kinds of things with, there’s a community of higher minded individuals right here. Leave a comment down below and let’s chat!

50 Signs of Spiritual Awakening

50 SYMPTOMS OF SPIRITUAL AWAKENING – SOURCE

1. Changing sleep patterns: restlessness, hot feet, waking up two or three times a night. Feeling tired after you wake up and sleepy off and on during the day.

There is something called the Triad Sleep Pattern that occurs for many: you sleep for about 2-3 hours, wake up, go back to sleep for another couple of hours, wake again, and go back to sleep again. For others, the sleep requirements have changed. You can get by on less sleep.

Lately I have been experiencing huge waves of energy running into my body from the crown. It feels good, but it keeps me awake for a long time, then subsides.

Advice: Get used to it. Make peace with it and don’t worry about getting enough sleep (which often causes more insomnia). You will be able to make it through the day if you hold thoughts of getting just what you need. You can also request your Higher Power to give you a break now and then and give you a good, deep night’s sleep.

If you can’t go back to sleep right away, use the waking moments to meditate, read poetry, write in your journal or look at the moon. Your body will adjust to the new pattern.

2. Activity at the crown of the head: Tingling, itching, prickly, crawling sensations along the scalp and/or down the spine. A sense of energy vibrating on top of the head, as if energy is erupting from the head in a shower. Also the sensation of energy pouring in through the crown, described as “sprinkles”.

This may also be experienced as pressure on the crown, as if someone is pushing his/her finger into the center of your head. As I mentioned in #1, I have been experiencing huge downloads of energy through the crown.

In the past, I have felt more generalized pressure, as if my head is in a gentle vise. One man related that his hair stood on end and his body was covered with goosebumps.

Advice: This is nothing to be alarmed about. What you are experiencing is an opening of the crown chakra. The sensations mean that you are opening up to receive divine energy.

3. Sudden waves of emotion. Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Then very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is not to be confused with the heart, which is located to the left of the heart chakra.

Advice: Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Don’t direct the emotions at anyone.

You are cleaning out your past. If you want some help with this, say out loud that you intend to release all these old issues and ask your Higher Power to help you. You can also ask Grace Elohim to help you release with ease and gentleness. Be grateful that your body is releasing these emotions and not holding onto them inside where they can do harm.

One source suggests that depression is linked to letting go of relationships to people, work, etc. that no longer match us and our frequencies. When we feel guilty about letting go of these relationships, depression helps us medicate that pain.
